The Girls' Brigade is a great place for girls aged 5 to 18 to learn new skills, develop confidence, find out more about the Christian faith and build lasting friendships. Groups are split by age and take place during school term times on:
Explorers (5 to 8 years) Thursdays 6.30pm to 7.30pm
Juniors (8 to 11 years) Thursdays 6.30pm to 7.45pm
Seniors (11 to 14 years) Thursdays 8pm to 9.30pm
Brigaders (14+ years) Thursdays 8pm 9.30pm
Subs are 'pay as you go' at between £1.50 and £2 per week with an annual subscription of just £12 per girl and no matter which section; meetings are crammed full of challenges, games and activities. There are hundreds of activities catering for just about every possible interest. At the same time we try to encourage girls to explore new interests outside of something they might normally try.
Each summer we join with the Boys' Brigade for our annual ten day camp and girls aged 12 and over are welcome to attend. With loads of variety and little chance of becoming bored, Girls' Brigade often becomes a life long adventure!
