Easter 2017 at NPBC

Empty Cross

We love Easter at NPBC because it’s at the heart of what we believe as Christians. It provides us with an opportunity to reflect on what Jesus went through when he died and rose again so that we could live.

Easter week starts on Sunday 9th April and ends on Sunday 16th April and is traditionally known as "Holy Week". It's when we remember Jesus’ last days starting with Palm Sunday (commemorating Christ’s triumphant entry into Jerusalem on a donkey), Maundy Thursday (Christ’s last supper with his disciples and when he washed his disciples’ feet), Good Friday (when Christ was crucified) and Easter Day (when Christ rose from the dead).

At NPBC we find time to remember and celebrate all the important events mentioned above, plus more. We like to find time to join with the other churches in the town for a couple of special events.

Below are all the events going on at NPBC over the Easter period and we warmly invite you to join us.
