Pastoral News: 16 May 10

Maurice Curtis has now returned home from hospital, and we remember him as he readjusts.

We pray for our students as they enter the “exam season”, praying that they will be able to do justice to themselves and their hard work, and we remember those for whom these exams and their outcome are critical to their future.

Believers’ Baptism

On Sunday the 30th May we are having a service of Believers’ Baptism, and we are delighted that Gemma Bendall-Jones, Gail Salmon, Magdalene Tan and Michael Dillow are telling of their faith in this way. It may be that you have never seen one of these services, or you would like to invite others to share in this. Do please consider prayerfully who you would like to invite to share in the experience of church!

Church Members Meetings

The next church members meeting will be on Tuesday 18th May at 8.00pm in the Tickford Room. Join us as we share news of the church’s work and ministry, consider developments for the future of ministry and the second minister, consider applications for membership, review the church’s financial position, and discuss Christmas services!

The minutes of the previous church meeting are available for members to read today. (In the green folder by the Steward’s table.)

Change of date: Please note that the extra church member’s meeting planned for Tuesday 15th June re 2nd Ministry has been postponed until Tuesday 22nd June.
