Pastoral News: 03 January 10

Thank you …

… for your generosity at the Community Carol Evening on Sunday 20th. December. We are able to send a gift of at least £450 to Willen Hospice for their work in the hospice and in community care

… to all who shared in the BIANCA project – Bring In A Neighbour At Christmas. There were at least 8 locations participating, and we pray that we will have established good links and relationship with neighbours in doing this.

… to all who helped to decorate the foyer and church for Christmas, to Roy Taylor and Steve Greenfield and their many helpers for their hard work at the New Year’s Eve Big Night Out event, and to all who participated in the Xcelsis Factor.

Thanks from Roy & Mary

Roy and Mary would like to thank everyone for their practical help and concern last Sunday when Roy's sister, Doreen, was taken ill during the service. After examination in A&E she was allowed back to stay with them and appears to have made a good recovery. She has now returned to her own home in Stony Stratford.

They are also grateful for the prayers and support they have received during Mary's time out of circulation because of a trapped nerve in her back. “We join our prayers with yours for a Healthy New Year!”
