Homegroups
Homegroups
provide a 'local community' within the church. They provide a setting
in which a small group can praise, pray and learn together from studying
God's word. The smaller more intimate environment makes it easier for
each to contribute, ask questions, receive and give support to the other
group members. Equally important, homegroups are a place for evangelism.
NPBC has a variety of homegroups: some meet during the day; some are
aimed at a particular age range; they are not all located in Newport Pagnell.
This diversity merely reflects the excellent diversity within the church
itself. Yet there are similarities: they tend to be the same size; they
run similar programmes; each group has a Facilitator who administers the
group and represents the group to the leadership of the Church.
We would like to encourage you to join a group: please contact the administrator
for more information and guidance on which homegroup might be best for
you. You might like to try a couple of groups before deciding to settle
with a particular group. But don't settle too cosily; we have a habit
of continual adoption to our changing conditions.
