Bethany Centre
The
Bethany Centre is a place where Senior members of the local community
can meet every Wednesday in Lovat Hall from 10 am to 2pm to enjoy one
anthers company and find friendship. Those who are now living on their
own or feel in need of a brief respite or break from caring for others
often find that Bethany is just the pace for them.
The centre provides -
- 10am fun table tennis for the more active
- coffee or tea with biscuits at 11am
- gentle exercises with a physiotherapist
- table games like Runmmikub, Scrabble etc.
- an appetising hot lunch and a cup of tea
- a brief epilogue to end the session
Alan Wearn's report on the Bethany Centre can be read here.
