Boys' Brigade
Boys' Brigade is a uniformed youth organisation. We belong to Newport
Pagnell Baptist Church, meeting on the church premises at Lovat Hall on
Monday and Thursday evenings. We are part of the Milton Keynes Batallion,
and have classes for boys of six years old and above.
The motto of the Boys' Brigade is 'Sure and Steadfast', but a better indication
of what we are about can be found in our object: 'The advancement of
Christ's kingdom among boys, and the promotion of habits of obedience, reverence,
discipline, self-respect and all that tends towards a true Christian manliness'.
We are able to offer a wide range of activities in and out of doors including
both physical activities and more Each summer we join with the Girls'
Brigade for our annual ten day camp. Boys aged 12 and over are welcome
to attend.
